MISLEADING REBATES AND CHARGES! Horrible online shopping experience.
i bought a summit under-counter refrigerator and dishwasher. The product detail page has rebate offers up to 50 & 100 dollar offers, all product eligible. The site said NOTHINGS about when using qualifying brand source credit card. I didn't learn this until AFTER I bought the item when i downloaded the form.
"when you use a qualifying brand source credit" the form said. Then I got and email saying i wasn't eligible for any rebates in my invoice confirmation email. uh?? Then I got an email from STEVE saying I was.
But using a brand source credit card. What I'm I supposed t to cancell my order and re-buy? Horrible and misleading. NEXT MISLEADING EXPERIENCE: I research my product on summit's website.
The product said the door was 'factory hinge reversible". So I added a note to Goedeker's to make the door reversible. Goedeker's called me and said there is a $65 charge for this service! WHAT?
I had already bought the unit! NO WHERE ON THEIR SITE does it say their is a charge for this service. I want to be told of all my price options before I buy, not after! I had to pay once again.
The sales manager didn't seem to think anything was wrong.
He obviously doesn't get customer experience. He should be dismissed Dont buy from these guys.
Reason of review: Order processing issue.
Monetary Loss: $65.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
